Apple Watch Series 10 (X) Design Leaks and Rumours: July

Apple enthusiasts, get ready for an exciting September! Alongside the highly anticipated iPhone 16 series, the Apple Watch Series 10 is set to make its debut. This year marks a significant milestone for Apple, with a special 10th-anniversary edition of the Apple Watch rumored to be in the works. Tentatively named 'Apple Watch X,' this new model promises several groundbreaking features.

Sneak Peek into the Apple Watch Series 10

Thanks 91Mobiles, we’ve been given a look at the raw CAD renders of the Apple Watch Series 10. These exclusive images give us a tantalising glimpse into what could be Apple’s most impressive watch yet. One of the standout features is a stunning 2-inch display, the largest ever on an Apple Watch. To put this into perspective, it’s even bigger than the Apple Watch Ultra's 1.93-inch display and significantly larger than the Series 9's 1.7-inch screen.

In terms of dimensions, the Apple Watch Series 10 measures approximately 46 x 39.7 x 11.6mm, positioning it neatly between the Series 9 and the Watch Ultra. Despite the larger display, the design retains the beloved aesthetic of previous models, complete with the iconic Digital Crown, square display, and side button.

What’s New with the Apple Watch Series 10?

While the renders showcase a familiar design, rumours suggest a significant innovation in the band attachment system. The current method, which involves sliding bands onto the sides of the watch case, could be replaced with a new magnetic band attachment system. This change is speculated to free up valuable space inside the watch, potentially allowing for a larger battery or additional components. Interestingly, though, the CAD renders don’t show clear evidence of this new attachment method. If true, this magnetic system could also contribute to a sleeker, thinner design.

Anticipation Builds

As we eagerly await the official launch, the excitement surrounding the Apple Watch Series 10 continues to grow. Whether it’s the rumoured Apple Watch X with its expansive display or the innovative band attachment system, this release promises to push the boundaries of what we expect from wearable technology.
